Don’t Drink … Gamble!
Saturday, 26. September 2009
If you enjoy a cocktail every so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and cheques at home. Only take whatever money you expect to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to lose and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit following a boozy evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a long roll at a smokin craps game. Don’t forget that story considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and bet. These activities just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moola out of the casino might be a bit excessive, but defensive measures for excessive actions is required. If you play to win, then do not drink and bet. If you like to toss aside your money nary a concern, then drink all the free booze your stomach can handle, but don’t pack credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your hooched up self throws away all the cash!
Permit me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then hop online to play in your preferred online casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condo, but because I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink and bet.
What’s the reason? Although I don’t drink alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely enough to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. When mixed, both create an awful, and crazy, cocktail.
