Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Gamble!
Tuesday, 11. June 2019
If you enjoy a beer occasionally, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and keep all money, credit cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Pack only the money you expect to use on alcohol, tips and only the pocket change you intend to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Realistic more like. You may well experience a success following a drunken evening out with your comrades and be blessed enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Hang on to that story because it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink and gamble. The pair just do not mix.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel might be a bit drastic, but precautionary measures for excessive actions is compulsory. If you bet to win, then do not drink and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your assets nary a worry, then consume all the free beer your stomach can handle, but don’t carry credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your inebriated head throws away every little thing!
Let me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then go on the web to bet in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my condo, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and bet.
How come? Even though I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it’s absolutely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble at the same time. The two mix up for a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
