Don’t Drink … Play!
Thursday, 10. February 2022
If you enjoy a beer every once in a while, keep your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks at home. Take whatever cash you expect to use on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you intend to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Just realistic. You could experience a profit after a boozy night out with your comrades and be lucky sufficiently to catch a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Hang on to that adventure considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and gamble. These activities just do not go well together.
Keeping your cash at home might be a bit dramatic, but preventative measures for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you gamble to profit, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you can afford to blow your assets without a concern, then consume all the no charge alcohol you are able to handle, but don’t take charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your drunken brain throws away all the cash!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then jump on the web to bet in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my condo, but since I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and bet.
How come? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it’s absolutely adequate to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. Both create a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
