In addition, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs never closes, with 38,500 square feet, 1,589 slot machines, 36 table games, and four eatery’s. There are numerous other dominant Iowa gambling halls, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.

A tinier Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend Riverboat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. Another Iowa riverboat casino, The Isle of Capri, is open 24 hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 slot machines, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. river boat casino in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday blackjack tournaments.

Iowa casinos offer an excellent deal of tax revenue to the state of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a lot of state wide projects. Vacationers have increased at a rapid rate accompanied with the request for companies and a growth in working people. Iowa casinos have contributed to the expansion of the market, and the affection for wagering in Iowa is absolute.
